Rough transcript: now to hershey where a flyer with a warning isshowing up in some mailboxes. a group called save hershey pa is reaching out to residents, to make sure they are aware of possible future threats to buy the chocolate company. the flier warns about a potential take-over bid by snack giant mondelez. wendy: it would have huge impact if it was sold or relocated. dave: i don't think the sale is going to happened, but i think the concerns are valid. >> the community also rallied against a buyout attempt by wrigley in 2002.

The connections are apparent everywhere you look. >> Milton Hershey did care about the community. >> He took his people under his wing. >> Wendy Yang spent 20 years at Hershey. Generations of her husband's family worked there as well. They're among the many residents to receive this flyer from a group called Save Hershey PA. It warns of another potential takeover bid by snack giant Mondelez. >> it can cause people to stop and think. >> Hershey has attracted suitors before. The community rallied against a buyout attempt by wrigley in 2002. >> There's been different groups in the community that have kind of risen and are keeping an eye on what's going on with the Hershey Company. >> Business leaders believe the company is in solid financial shape. >> They are trying to become much more global than they ever were in the past and that's clearly part of their strategy and I think it makes sense. >> As to putting a face behind these flyers, the chocolate workers union and the company say they have no connection to them.
