Citadel LLC , Brevan Howard Asset Management LLP and other large investors are balking at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc .'s bid to more freely share information about derivatives trades the firms made with the failed investment bank before its collapse.
In filings made Friday and Monday with U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan, the hedge funds and other investors argued that information they filled out about the trades is proprietary and could give competitors trading advantages. Lehman made the request to make the information more public earlier in March as part of its various legal fights over the amount of some creditors' derivatives claims...
