Eric Luo, CEO of SFCE has been nominated as Asian CEO of the Year based off his contribution to the energy industry in the Asia Pacific.
Today Power and Electricity World Asia 2015 announced the results of Asian CEO of the Year award, and SFCE is pleased to note that CEO Eric Luo was recognized as one of the final four nominations. Held at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore, Mr. Luo was nominated for Asian CEO of the Year in recognition of his leadership transforming SFCE into a leading clean energy solution provider and his contribution to the growth and evolution of the power, energy, and utilities sector in Asia Pacific.
SFCE wishes to congratulate Torstein Dale Sjotveit, the CEO of Sarawak Energy of Malaysia, for receiving the final award, and for his hard work in driving the energy industry forward in a time that demands both vision, and leadership.

Power and Electricity World Asia, an annual conference held in Singapore, showcases leading technologies and business models in the energy industry. Drawing on expertise from within Asia, the US, Europe and Australia, Power and Electricity World Asia delves into subjects surrounding Asia's energy future, including new utility business models, consumer engagement, smart living ecosystems, and more. Eric Luo was one of four CEOs nominated for the Asian CEO of the Year award this year. The other nominees include Fazil Erwin Alfitri of PT Medco Power, Torstein Dale Sjotveit of Srawak Energy, and Jose Maria Zabaleta of Bronzeoak.
Eric Luo, former CEO of Wuxi Suntech (Suntech), was appointed CEO of Shunfeng International Clean Energy (SFCE) this past January, following Suntech's acquisition by SFCE in 2014. Over the course of 2014, Mr. Luo successfully led Suntech's reemergence in the solar industry, positioning Suntech once again as a leading global PV player. In the past year, SFCE has acquired over five other clean energy companies and has established strategic cooperation with technological companies that will enhance SFCE's product offerings. SFCE looks to be a leader in clean energy integration, clean energy distribution, and smart cities. This global initiative has been spearheaded by Eric Luo.

Solarrus and meteocontrol Form Alliance to Jointly Deliver Services

Solarrus Corporation and meteocontrol, two of the leading energy service providers for the solar PV industry, have announced that they formed a partnership to jointly develop a new operations platform to promote and deliver their respective services.
By partnering with Solarrus, meteocontrol will now have the capability to offer North Americacustomers the commissioning, corrective repair, and maintenance capabilities on sites that have meteocontrol hardware. Furthermore, the partnership will also be able to expand meteocontrol's capabilities to also monitor the key performance indicators for electric vehicle charging stations and battery energy storage systems.
The field capabilities will be fulfilled by True South Renewables, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solarrus. Customers will benefit from this cooperation because the integration combines high quality field services with easy access to other meteocontrol quality analytics, such as performance checks or on-site evaluation of systems in order to optimize project yields and costs.
"Incorporating True South Renewables field capabilities into the meteocontrol offering makes a lot of sense for our customers," stated Robert Pfatischer, Managing Director of meteocontrol."Selection of the asset management platform is an important decision for each and every project. meteocontrol is offering market leading solutions, we recently surpassed a monitored capacity of more than 10 GWp. Now we are able to also incorporate service and maintenance of the equipment from a field organization that is recognized as the largest independent solar O&M company in the US market."
Solarrus Corporation, the parent company for both True South Renewables (TSR) and MaxGen Energy Services (MaxGen), will work with meteocontrol to customize a new software platform for a new, state of the art monitoring and reporting capability that will coordinate all of its field operations, including technical operations management for solar, electric vehicle charging, and battery energy storage installations.
The new meteocontrol monitoring and reporting operations center will not only receive and analyze data from the field, but will also be fully integrated with the dispatch system for Solarrus' field technicians. Solarrus field technicians are active in the United States from coast to coast, and in 2014 performed O&M services for over 2,000 unique locations. By integrating meteocontrol analysis and alarm triage with Solarrus' field footprint, overall operations management is anticipated to be more efficient.
"A critical element of the software platform provided by meteocontrol is that the operations center will be technology agnostic, allowing data for all field services provided by TSR and MaxGen to be captured and integrated with the ability to dispatch field technicians," said Bill Klein, co-founder and CEO of Solarrus. "The operations center will continue to allow TSR and MaxGen to take on service and maintenance contracts regardless of the type of equipment selected by our customers. By incorporating meteocontrol's software, we will be able to further automate the analysis that we deliver for our customers today."
The new meteocontrol monitoring and reporting operations center will be co-located in the Solarrus headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, and the staff will integrate personnel from Solarrus, True South Renewables, MaxGen, and meteocontrol.
